The unreasonable restrictions are making the business of domestic tourism so dificult.We “proudly” spend more than SR50 billion annually traveling abroad. I think inside every one of us is a Sinbad who lives for travel and tourism. For all our love for travel and tourism, we are still not attracted to domestic tourism. Even the most conservative Saudis prefer to travel abroad.
It is not only liberal families who prefer to go abroad, but conservatives also pack and head to Malaysia, Gulf countries and others.

Private firms keep staff guessing on bonus

JEDDAH: Employees of private companies and institutions are still awaiting payment of a two-month salary bonus promised by their employers. The promise came after Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah issued a royal decree offering a two-month salary bonus to all government employees.
